Founder and President

Mabry Smith is Founder and President of Leadership Legacy Partners, an Executive Search and Leadership Consulting firm that selectively serves public and private companies, institutions and organizations across the United States and abroad.

The firm’s collective experience and expertise encompasses a wide array of industry sectors and executive search for functional positions including Board Director, Chief Officers, Senior level leadership and Mid-level management.  Additionally, Leadership Legacy Partners provides organizations with select leadership consulting services including executive assessment, C-level development, coaching, succession planning, culture shaping and team optimization.

Prior to founding Leadership Legacy Partners, Mabry served a long tenure as President and Managing Partner of a national executive search and leadership consulting organization. His early career experience includes 20 years in Business Management with a premier manufacturing, distribution and service enterprise as well as time with an advertising agency.

He has also served as Chairman of the Board of King’s Home, President of The Birmingham Sunrise Rotary Club, the BBVA/Compass Bank Young Executive Board of Directors, the CMG Board of Directors, Vistage International CEO Advisory Board, The Newcomen Society, the Global CEO Network for Business as Missions and Chairman of the Board of Cedarworks, Inc.  He is a cum laude graduate of The University of Alabama and is a Paul Harris Fellow.

Mabry has been a featured speaker on the “CFO Thought Leader” broadcast and is the author of the Chief Executive Magazine published article “Preparing for Board Director Retirement: A Customized Approach to Succession Planning.”
